Here are some of the charitable efforts that have been supported by the Dustin J. Wells Foundation over the years...
When Dustin was growing up, he always looked forward to summer and his time at Hy-Lake Christian Camp. There, he formed some very special friendships over the years and enjoyed the spiritual enrichment aspects of the camp. When he reached the age of 16, he could no longer attend as a camper, so he volunteered to be a camp counselor. One of Dustin's favorite things at camp was the Talent Show, where he enjoyed sharing his great drumming skills. As a tribute to Dustin, The Foundation has provided funds to build a cottage as a permanent reminder of his time there.
Founded in 1984, the W.O. Smith Music School is a nonprofit educational institution created for the purpose of making qulaity music instruction available to talented, interested, deserving children from low income families. Over 350 students ages 7 to 18 representing academic schools from across Davidson County and the Middle Tennessee area participate in over 500 different music courses.
